SDGs hard at work – your shared examples

You have now seen three examples of SDG implementation: Grundfos, Coop & Maersk.
They all absorbed the SDGs deep into their corporate DNA and are changing their purpose and long-term strategies because of the SDGs.

All three business examples show that the SDGs have made the company better at what they already do, by sharing openly & thinking differently.

Please search the internet and find similar examples from your industry or related sector to share with your colleagues

• Look for local and international competitors or suppliers and check if they are communicating the sustainability work they are doing on their website.
• Search a local newspaper for ‘SDGs’, ‘sustainability’ or ‘sustainable development’ then you might find examples to share.
• Large international listed companies very often work with the SDGs.
• UN Global Compact is also a good way to find companies from your industry that are disclosing their sustainability work openly.
